Through direct, high‑trust conversations, he surfaces blind spots, names the unspoken dynamics shaping their teams, and translates complexity into clear, actionable steps. Executives rely on him because he brings calm confidence, sharp insight, and a strengths‑based approach that accelerates growth without drama. The result is stronger leadership, healthier teams, and measurable movement on the priorities that matter most. 

During his 24-year career at Chevron, Matt developed a mature coaching culture and is a certified coach (ACC) by the International Coaching Federation. He contributed to leader and employee development, handling identification, selection, assessment, succession, and holistic growth. As program manager for the Chevron Advanced Management Program and later as the manager of Enterprise Coaching, he shaped future and current executives.

Matt's academic achievements include a bachelor's degree in business from Pepperdine University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of California at Davis. Beyond his professional endeavors, he finds fulfillment in family life with his wife, Allie, and their two children. Calling Sugar Land, Texas, their home, Matt's passion for coaching extends beyond the leader realm, enriching the lives of those around him.

Matt is a certified practitioner of numerous assessments and methodologies, including Hogan and DiSC Assessments, 360-degree feedback instruments (Korn Ferry 360 and Leadership Practices Inventory), The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team, team coaching facilitation, and psychological safety assessment and development. He works in diverse industries, including manufacturing, oil and gas, and nonprofit leadership. Clients range in size from small, growing entrepreneurial firms to large, well-established multinational corporations.
